At Alpha Chi Omega our philanthropic endeavors are something that we hold very close to our hearts. Domestic Violence Awareness is one of the most important aspects of Alpha Chi Omega. All of our philanthropy events that we hold help raise money for the Santa Monica Sojourn Center, which is a domestic violence shelter program that offers crisis and transitional housing to individuals and families who need it. We work very closely with Sojourn and in addition to raising money for them, our chapter has also spent time making hygiene bags for the people at Sojourn and many of the girls in our chapter have taken a 40 hour course that allows our girls to volunteer and work more closely with Sojourn!

It’s really great to educate our members and community about healthy love and the resources available to them. Pizza Pie w/ Alpha Chi
Pizza Pie with Alpha Chi is our fall quarterly philanthropy event! It's an all you can eat pizza and lasagna night hosted at our sorority house. The money we raise goes to the Santa Monica Sojourn Center and we have so much fun singing, eating, and getting to know everyone who cares deeply about supporting Domestic Violence Awareness!
Best in the West
Best in the West is our biggest philanthropy event of the year! It's a huge poker tournament with entertainment throughout the night and big prizes being raffled off! The money gets donated to the Santa Monica Sojourn Center and throughout the whole night we educate people on Domestic Violence Awareness and what it means to our chapter!
